Rental Purchase Plan

 Here at Johnny Paul's Music Shop, we try to give our customers as good of a deal as we possibly can.  Here's how the Rental-Purchase program works for you.

First of all, you have the option to return your instrument at any time during the rental period.  As long as your payments are current, you won't owe us any more money if your child doesn't stay in band.  No instrument to worry about selling, or just sitting unused in the closet.  However, if your child stays in band, you will always know exactly how long before you own it.  We are always honest with you.
                                                                                    
Or, if you see that your child is going to stay with band, and you want to pay off your instrument, you can always take 20% off of the remaining balance to figure your payoff.  Once again, your payments have to be current.

  We also give 20% off of the list price of the instrument if you want to pay cash or put the entire purchase on a credit card within 60 days of the beginning of the rental period.  If you are fairly certain your child is going to stay with band, and you use a low-interest card, this arrangement can save you money.
 

If you decide you would like a better instrument for your child during the contract, we will apply 80% of your rental payments toward the purchase of a step-up instrument for the first 12 months.  After that, we will apply at least 50% of the rental payments toward the better instrument.

AND HERE'S THE BEST PART:  We will always stand behind our instruments.  Minor adjustments, dings and drops, can be repaired right here in our repair shop.  Johnny Paul has been repairing instruments for over 40 years, and our shop is well stocked with parts.   No need for a maintenance agreement with JP's Music Shop, we cover that for you.  We will charge you if your child does willful or malicious damage, but we know they won't do that, right?  We do try to always give them the benefit of the doubt.

We pay a visit to your school every week, so you never have to worry about taking your child's instrument to the repair shop.  Most repairs can be done on the spot, and when we have to bring it in for repair, we bring it back the next week.  All for no extra charge.
