Margaret Faulkner
Margaret Faulkner, Nancy Hausmann's sister, is certainly our
Mom-In-Residence. Whatever we need, she does, with grace, beauty,
and caring. Every year, she packages up all the beginner
instruments and accessories, making sure that each child receives
exactly what they should have. Margaret carefully tracks all
school deliveries of those instruments and accessories, keeping up with
which students at which schools have been delivered. She also
carefully takes home all used accessories, carefully cleaning and
disinfecting them, so that we can pass them on to kids that can't
afford new. She is also our resident shopper, keeping us
well-stocked in supplies, coffee, drinks, and treats for the employees
to enjoy. Margaret is in charge of Public Relations, personally
choosing and delivering all the donations we make to band auctions and
other public groups. An added responsibility of hers is helping
to keep the store looking good, organized and, that dreaded task,
keeping our inventory straight.
Now,
it IS best if she and Nancy do not try to work in the same room (we
thought the last time we were going to have to arm each of them with
pillows to fight with). So, now we keep her working in the front
area of the store, and Nancy in the back. So all is well.
